- Oversee day-to-day operations of a warehouse distribution center, ensuring efficient and timely processing of orders - Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory, monitor stock levels, and optimize storage space - Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize errors and discrepancies - Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment - Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity - Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments - Manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback - Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery of goods - Coordinate materials handling equipment maintenance and repairs
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or operations supervision role - Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and best practices - Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software - Understanding of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment - Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, 3PL providers, and vendors - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Note:
