Code Enforcement InspectorSouth Central Planning & Development Commission is accepting resumes for a Combination Inspector.
The main duty of the Inspector is to perform on-site inspections to verify compliance with the Louisiana State Uniform Construction Code.
The candidate must possess good communication & computer skills, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, as well as be able to work independently.
The candidate must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Inspectors must periodically be available for 24 hr on call services.
This position may also be called upon to assist with duties related to post declared emergencies.
The individual should possess a high school diploma and some certifications as a minimum.
The ideal candidate would meet Louisiana State certification requirements for both Residential and Commercial Inspections.
The Inspector position is a full-time, hourly position with permanent status and fringe benefits.
Benefits include retirement, health/dental/vision/life insurance, paid holidays, vacation & sick leave.
Starting pay will be approximately $30.
00 - $50.
00 per hour depending on qualification level and experience.
SCPDC is an EOE/AAE.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
