CERTEX is seeking a motivated Wire Rope / Chain Assembly Fabricator in the Gray, Louisiana area.
General Description:
A fabricator for Wire rope and chain assemblies is responsible for the production of assemblies that are used all over the world in nearly every level of manufacturing.
They will learn how to accurately identify different diameters, constructions, and best possible applications for an array of products that are utilized in industries like construction, energy, mining, crane operation, space and aeronautical, deep-sea recovery and rescue.
Working closely with experienced staff and learning on the job skills with years of proven quality and effectiveness.
A trained and skilled Fabricator will become an integral part of an industry that continues to grow annually and learn a trade skill that will increase in value and demand for a lifetime.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Splicing wire rope, and fabricating chain slings for our customers nationwide.
Learning the business to better succeed and make room for advancement.
Understanding and operation of industrial swaging machines, proof testing machines, and forklifts (Training is provided) Assisting both staff and customers in producing and supplying the highest quality rigging materials available.
Additional Duties will include maintaining your work area, shipping and receiving of goods, maintaining inventory records, completing tasks as they arise.
Skills and
Qualifications:
No Experience necessary Highly motivated individuals encouraged Requirements:
Proficient at math and reading Must be able to manage your time.
Must be able to accurately read a tape measure or digital micrometer.
Must be 18 years of age or older Must be persistent, energetic and reliable.
Must be able to safely carry, and maneuver 75 lbs of weight routinely during daily operations.
Prior experience in the construction, equipment or oil industry is preferred.
