You will undertake a variety of activities in the office that include answering the phones, checking patients in and out, updating the practice management system with patient information, filing, and various other front office duties.
You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with office equipment and procedures but we are willing to train a reliable, hard working candidate to join our incredible team of doctors and nurses.
Responsibilities Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate personnel Utilize office equipment such as copiers, printers, and computers Balance credit card machines and money drawer daily Greeting clinic and surgery center patients and getting them checked in for their appointments and re-scheduled upon discharge Processing referrals received and schedule new patients for evaluation Follow up patient calls Monitor stocks of office supplies Perform other office duties as assigned Skills Experience as office clerk or other clerical position preferred but not required Familiarity with office procedures Knowledge of office equipment and processes Excellent communication skills Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities High school diploma Job Type:
