Gray, LA Gray, LA Full-time Full-time $45,000 - $60,000 a year $45,000 - $60,000 a year 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Standard Crane & Hoist is searching for an experienced AutoCad Drafter, Designer and overhead crane professional to become the designer for our flagship location in Gray, Louisiana where we manufacture electric overhead cranes.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating and managing drawings, designing, quality control and job details of crane fabrication.
Show leadership skills to support that with the outside sales team, job planning, time management, and customer design issues.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on individual that is committed to the success and growth of our customer base and employee group.
The ideal candidate will have significant AutoCad experience with knowledge of structural design, steel material and estimating.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Collaborating with engineers and architects.
Creating technical drawings using Autocad and other softwares.
Identifying design inaccuracies and providing solutions.
Ensuring compliance with safety and enviromental protocols.
Preparing documentation for design projects and reports.
Undertaking quality control procedures.
Build and maintain customer confidence and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a professional image in all areas.
Required Skills And Knowledge 2 years of AutoCad experience.
2 years of proven experience working with engineering teams.
Associates Degree or higher preferred, but not required.
Standard Crane is the largest overhead crane and hoist manufacturing, sales and service company in the state of Louisiana.
